2024 “LUCK OF THE IRISH” RAFFLE

In January, all Museum of Newport Irish History members of record received a book of raffle tickets in the mail along with THIS LETTER asking for their support of our first-ever raffle fundraiser.

Friends of the Museum from near and far are invited to also enter for a chance to win $6,000 worth of cash prizes.

Include your full name and mailing address and “Luck of the Irish” in the subject line.

You will receive an envelope in the mail in a few days, containing a book of tickets, a reply form, and a return envelope. Payment may be made via check payable to “MNIH” or by credit/debit card.

Please return completed ticket stub(s) and payment by Friday, March 15.

ABOUT THE DRAWING

The “Luck of the Irish” raffle drawing will be held on Wed. March 20, 2024 at the conclusion of the final talk of our 2023-24 Annual Lecture Series.

Location: The Wyndham Newport Hotel, 240 Aquidneck Ave. Middletown, RI, 02842
Drawing Time: Approx. 7:15 p.m.

The lecture and the raffle drawing will also be live-streamed via Zoom. You do not need to be present to win.

ABOUT THE MARCH 20 LECTURE
The guest speaker for our March 20, 6:00 p.m. lecture will be Steve Marino. Steve’s talk, presented in person and live-streamed via Zoom, is titled:

“The Great Cutter Race of 1905:
An Irish Tale of Newport’s Gilded Age.”
